Graham's School of Motoring is Galway's longest established driving school and recognised leader for quality driving lessons leading to successful driving test results. Regarded as one of the best driving schools , it was founded in 1969 by Galway born, Frank Graham, who trained and qualified in London as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and as a RAC Registered Instructor.
ADI instruction is the compulsory government qualification required by all professional Driving Instructors in Ireland and the UK.
Alan Graham is a qualified Road Safety Authority - Approved Driving Instructor (RSA-ADI).
This is our guarantee to all our pupils that they are getting the very best of quality ADI instruction in Galway city.
Alan specialises in beginner EDT lessons, as well as being a pretest specialist.
In 2008, Alan was the first professional Driving Instructor in Ireland to be presented with an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)
Certificate by Gay Byrne, former chairman of the RSA.

Driving Lessons are carefully planned and structured to cater for the individual needs of each and every pupil. Our high standard of dedicated tuition leads to better test results.
Our Dual Controlled cars offer the pupil the peace of mind that the instructor is there always there to take over if any issues arise, thereby allowing the pupil to learn in a relaxed environment.
Essential Driver Training (EDT) is a compulsory requirement. Alan Graham is a fully qualified Road Safety Authority - Approved Driving Instructor (RSA-ADI), who is a specialist in this training.
This helps iron out any reoccurring driving errors and improve overall performance for the driving test. Such a lesson the hour before the driving test is most beneficial, as it helps calm pre-test nerves.
Mock tests provides the pupil with the opportunity to see how they are progressing, allows for correction of errors and prepares them for what the real test experience will be.
In preparing for the Driving Test, test routes are fully covered. This allows the pupil to relax and become familar of possible test locations and different driving situations that could arise.
All lessons are 1-to-1 tuition with Alan Graham, a dedicated and professional instructor whose aim is to get all our Learner Drivers to Test standard as quickly and economically as possible.

Lessons can be given in our Dual Controlled School Car or
- They have adequate driving experience
- Their own car is fully taxed and insured
- Their own car has passed the NCT test and is roadworthy
Make sure that you have a current driver's Learners Permit, Licence Category B for driving lessons in our dual-controlled cars. (See Links Page)

Driving Lessons available six days a week - Monday to Saturday.
Cancellation of Driving Lessons require a minimun of 24hrs notice
Use of the Schools' Car for the Driving Test will only be made available to those dedicated pupils who are deemed to have reached test standard.
